The SCERS office remains closed to members and the public through the month of February to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. 

Staff are not working in the office during this time but remain committed to our members by providing retirement counseling and processing retirement applications remotely. 

We encourage members to submit retirement documents by mail; please use U.S. Postal Service and mail to 980 9th Street, Suite 1900, Sacramento, CA 95814.  Transmitting documents by County inter-office mail, certified mail, FedEx, or UPS may cause delays. 

SCERS also has placed a drop box on the lobby floor of our office building at 980 9th Street, located near the security desk, where members can submit paperwork that will be retrieved during the workweek.
