Institutional Investor, a leading international business to business publisher focused primarily on international finance, has announced that SCERS is one of four nominees for the ‘Small Public Plan of the Year’ in their 12th Annual Hedge Fund Industry Awards.  These awards recognize the hedge fund investors, managers, and consultants that stood out for their innovation, achievements, and contributions to the industry in 2013.

The other nominees in the ‘Small Public Plan’ category include the Fire and Police Pension Association of Colorado, the City of Philadelphia Municipal Retirement System, and the Orange County Employees’ Retirement System.

This nomination is an honor that reflects industry-wide recognition of SCERS’ accomplishments in the investment field and is validation of SCERS’ commitment to the stewardship of the retirement assets of SCERS’ members.
