Ballots have been mailed out for the SCERS Board Member election to take place during the period of September 19 through September 30, 2022.

SCERS encourages all of its members to vote.

The election is for one Miscellaneous representative, one Retiree representative, and one Alternate Retiree representative. The terms of office will begin January 1, 2023 and end on December 31, 2025.

Candidates for the upcoming election are as follows: 

Miscellaneous candidates: 

Blake Sequeira, Deputy County Counsel
Masiku Tepa Banda, Director of Sanitation Districts Finance

Retiree candidate:

Martha J. Hoover, County Executive Office, Retired County Debt Officer

Alternate Retiree candidates:

Kathy O’Neil, Incumbent
Dave Irish, Department of Finance – Retired Director of Finance

Active members can return their ballots via inter-office mail, postal mail, or in person at the Voter Registrations and Elections (VRE) Office. Retired members can mail or deliver their ballots in person to:
