James A. Diepenbrock

President

James A. Diepenbrock
Appointed by the Board of Supervisors

James A. Diepenbrock is a Certified Investment Management Analyst with Citigroup Institutional Consulting.  Mr. Diepenbrock joined the Board in August 1997. His present term expires June 30, 2012.



Keith DeVore

Keith DeVore
Elected by the Miscellaneous Members

Keith DeVore serves as Deputy Administrator of the Sacramento County Municipal Services Agency. Mr. DeVore was elected to the Board in January 1999. His present term expires December 31, 2010.


John B. Kelly

2nd Vice President

John B. Kelly
Appointed by the Board of Supervisors

John B. Kelly is an Investment Specialist and Certified Financial Planner with Massachusetts Mutual Investments, Inc. Mr. Kelly joined the Board in January 1998. His current term expires December 31, 2012.



Dave Irish

Dave Irish is the Sacramento County Director of Finance, and he serves as the Ex-Officio member of the Board. Mr. Irish joined the Board in August 2005. 



Winston H. Hickox

Winston H. Hickox is a Partner with the Sacramento based Government Affairs consulting firm California Strategies. Mr. Hickox joined the Board in April of 1998. His current term expires June 30, 2012.

Kathy O’Neil
Elected by the Miscellaneous Members

Kathy O’Neil is Human Services Supervisor with Sacramento County. Ms. O’Neil was elected as the Board in September 2009, and her first term of office is January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2012.


William D. Johnson

Elected by the Safety Members

William D. Johnson is a captain with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Johnson was elected to the Board in October 2003. His current term expires December 31, 2012.



Nancy Wolford-Landers

Nancy Wolford-Landers
Elected by the Retired Members

Nancy Wolford-Landers retired from County service in 1996 from her position of Auditor Controller. Ms. Wolford-Landers was appointed to the board in November 2002 as alternate retiree member. Ms. Wolford-Landers was elected as the retiree member in December 2004, and her current term expires December 31, 2010.


Robert Woods

Robert L. Woods
Appointed by the Board of Supervisors

Robert L. Woods is a mortgage loan consultant for Summit Funding, Inc. He recently retired as Investment Officer with the California State Teachers’ Retirement System. Mr. Woods joined the Board in July 1998. His current term expires June 30, 2010.


John Conneally

Alternate Safety Trustee

John Conneally
Elected by the Safety Members

John Conneally is Battalion Chief with the Sacramento County Airport System. Mr. Conneally serves as the Alternate Safety Member. Mr. Conneally was elected to the Board in September 2006. His current term expires December 31, 2012.


William Cox

Alternate Retiree Trustee

William Cox
Elected by the Retired Members

William Cox retired from County service in March 1996, from his position of Bureau Chief in the Department of Human Assistance. Mr. Cox was elected to the Board in January 1999. He currently serves as the Alternate Retiree Member, and his term expires December 31, 2010.

Heemay Jone, M.D., Deputy County Health Officer


At the Board’s first regular meeting held in July of each year, or as soon thereafter as possible, the Retirement Board elects its President, First Vice President and Second Vice President. Mr. Diepenbrock, Mr. DeVore, and Mr. Kelly were reelected as President, First Vice President, and Second Vice President, respectively, in July 2009.
